AUDIO / RESOURCES

Hello, this is the audio page!I'll be putting up links to a bunch of the VSTi/Samples I use. Maybe even software sometimes!

Might do direct downloads for samples if I upgrade to supporter. But, in the meantime...

An overwhelming majority of things here are FREEWARE, so don't expect to pay even a cent, unless specified.

Some categories may be lumped together for the sake of space/time, so keep that in mind!

VST - Synthesizers

VST - Synthesizers

Fullbucket.de A bunch of free synthesizers, largely modeling older ones (there's a LOT of Korg stuff! Like the Poly-800!)

Nils K1v Kawai K1 Emulator - REALLY good, really high quality, this should honestly cost money.

TAL Software There's a good few instruments, and a good few effects here. Free ones on the bottom - Get TAL Bassline!

Surge XT Open Source. Complicated. A ton of presets. A ton of options. Surge. HEAVILY recommended.

OB-Xd ONLY THE VST2 VERSION IS FREE! FOR NON-COMMERCIAL USE! A really solid recreation of the Oberheim OB-X. Really simple to use, pretty versatile too. HIGHLY RECOMMNED THIS ONE!

VST - Effects

VST - Effects

TDR Kotelnikov A really good, simple Compressor. It's all you need, really.

Klangheim IVGI A good, simple Saturator. Once again, all you really need!

Auburn - Graillon Pitch Corrector - you can REALLY mangle sounds with this if you take a few seconds. They also offer other free editions of their VST's.

Chowdhury - Chow Tape Model Reel to Reel Analogue Tape Machine Emulator - INSANELY GOOD ON DRUMS!!! I consider this mandatory on most of my drum tracks! They also have a ton of other VST's.

Glitchmachines - Hysteresis Glitch Delay. It's not something I use very often, but it's unique enough to put on here. Pretty simple, to boot!

Audio Damage A TON OF DIFFERENT EFFECTS. If anything, atleast download Discord3 (Pitchshifter) and Liquid (Flanger)

BAD - I MEAN, GOOD!

BAD...?

Delay Llama In the beginning, there was nothing... Then, Delay Llama.

SOFTWARE

TRACKER MUSIC

Tracker Music consists of a bunch of old formats - lightweight, runs smooth, easy to get into / compose with, but regrettably it's all from a bygone era. If you played Unreal / Deus Ex, this is what it is. If you make music, and you want to find instrument samples, or other oddball stuff, tracker music is still relevant! I REALLY encourage you to check out the ModArchive (linked below), it's got a built-in player on their site. If you've got a few bucks, please consider sending it their way - keep the antiquated alive.

OpenMPT A music tracker, used to listen to music from a more refined age. I think this is one of the better ones to use, as you can pretty easily export samples and sounds to .wav!

ModArchive Music, for the aforementioned music tracker!

RESOURCES

TEMPORARY

Stuff that should be in a seperate page (RESOURCES). I'll get to it soon!

GIFcities. An Internet Archive search tool for GIFs from the old web - conveniently also links to the website that hosts them!
